Robert Westenberg

When Bob Westenberg asks his life coaching students to sit down and write themselves a letter from a 75-year-old's perspective, he is really asking them to realize who they want to become and to explore how they can get there. What often results is a life plan with short and long-term goals and the means to reach them. Similarly, Bob's role as Meristem's Vice Chairman and Partner is a culmination of his own goals.

He began his career as a CPA and moved to CFO and Senior Vice President of Administration of a division of Dayton Hudson. He later purchased this division to become Chairman and CEO of his own electronics company. In 1989 he started a family office/wealth management firm, Chaffee & Westenberg, which evolved into Meristem in 2003. Having reached many of his own goals, Bob is committed to helping Meristem clients realize success in their own lives through the use of Meristem's comprehensive wealth management services.

Bob enjoys golfing and biking, but he will never pass up an opportunity to spend time with his children and grandchildren.
